- Mar 25, 2025 The graduation ceremony was held, and 9 students in the master's program and 8 undergraduate students from our laboratory were awarded the master's and bachelor's degrees, respectively.
- Mar 24, 2025 Morita presented our research findings orally at the 23rd Conference on Biomechanics, organaized by The Japanese Society for Experimental Mechanics, on March 22.
- Mar 19, 2025 The undergraduate senior Koki Yoshida received the Excellent Presentation Award for his oral presentation on research findings at the Conference.
- Mar 10, 2025 The master’s second-year student Jiang was selected for the Awards to Outstanding Oral Presentations by Students and Young Researchers for his research presentation at the International Conference.
- Mar 6, 2025 The master’s second-year students Takaki and Higashida presented their research findings orally at the Conference.

Mission
We are engaged in the development of advanced experimental mechanics measurement techniques that enable the visualization of physical phenomena at the micro- and nanometer scales. By leveraging mechanical engineering expertise, we strive to unravel the complex mechanical phenomena revealed through this visualization. Furthermore, we aim to utilize the insights gained from our research to pioneer new academic fields, create new value in the industrial sector, and contribute to the development of a better society.
